Together@

Feeling lonely and isolated after Covid-19?

Why not join one of our Together clubs? Specifically for the over 60’s the club provides members with fun, food and opportunities to make friends and try new things.

The days’ activities are many and varied from quizzes, members sharing their stories, visiting speakers and entertainers, or our recent cupcake decorating competition, judged by our very own “Mary Berry.”

Twice a month there is the opportunity to participate in armchair exercises before lunch.

One of the many highlights of the day is sharing a delicious home-made lunch prepared from scratch by our own on-site chef’s.

Regular day trips are also part of the life of the clubs.

There have been river cruises, shopping trips, visits to Chatsworth House, Twycross Zoo, Matlock Bath, various garden centres and East Midlands Designer Outlet.

Plus, a mystery tour of Derbyshire, a Christmas shopping expedition, a Skittles afternoon with lunch, excursions to the Nottingham Playhouse and Theatre Royal to see the Pantomime and ‘Top Hat’ respectively.
